Overview 

Academy of Management Consultancy is a training institute for professional and managerial problem solvers. The Academy offers a one-stop shop competency-based management consultancy, in-house management training and higher education for our clientele. AMC has successfully co-organized MBA and DBA programs for Bulacan State University and Tarlac State University of the Philippines. It is also the organizer for the Post-Graduate Diploma and Advance Post-Graduate Diploma in International Management of the International Institute of Management (IIM). 

Foreseeing the increasing needs of continuous learning, the Academy  now provides one more learning option for experienced supervisors, managers and business owners to strengthen their managerial competencies through pursuit of the Professional Diploma in Management Excellence.

The program is designed to develop technically competent managerial professionals who will respond to the needs of the dynamic local and international business environment.  Providing a learning framework in diverse and updated management areas, graduates can promote their excellence in both business application and vigorous academic research.

Award and Recognition

This Professional Diploma is jointly awarded by GCS International and AMC.  GCS International is an international NGO that has gained special consultative status from the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 1997, and developed a close cooperative relationship with the UN.  It is made up of worldwide GCS clubs ranging from international to local levels.  The clubs share the same aim: promoting world peace with the spirit of Goodwill (G), Cooperation (C) and Service (S) into every day practice.

Graduates are entitled to Associate Membership of the International Institute of Management (IIM) by submission of completed application form and payment of due membership fees.

Graduates are also recognized as having met the entry requirements of the MBA program of Tarlac State University and the EMBA Program of the United Business Institutes (UBI, Brussles, Belgium), and through assessment may further gain coursework exemptions.  Those gaining full exemption need only submit a research dissertation to earn their Master's degree award.

Language of Study 

The program is conducted bilingually in Cantonese and English, and the project report can be written in English or Chinese.

Admission Requirements

• 3 years' managerial experience, AND

• at least have completed their secondary school study

Completion Time

20 weeks. Upon completion of the program, students will be awarded the joint AMC-GCS Professional Diploma in Management Excellence.
